Honey on The Rock on HGTV’s Big Living Tiny House by Carpenter Owl
Designed and built by Daniel Weddle at Carpenter Owl, the “Honey on the Rock” was created as a vacation home and includes the family’s heirloom whiskey still. The 22-foot tiny home was featured on HGTV’s Tiny House, Big Living.
The exterior was built out of walnut and cedar trim. Curved lines, a two-story deck with spiral staircase, and vintage soaker tub on the upper deck combine to create a truly unique tiny home.
Inside Honey on the Rock are native Indiana woods that create a warm, colorful living space. The simple kitchen includes a copper sink, electric cooktop, and under counter refrigerator. All of the light fixtures in the house were handmade and the plumbing fixtures were made out of soldered copper.
The whiskey still is hidden inside a copper topped table and on the table is a 4K Dwarf brand wood stove on top. The bedroom loft is large enough for a king size bed and has two porthole windows. A secret door behind a drawing leads to the outdoor soaker tub.
