Selling my 2003 International school bus with about 143,000 miles on it. Just getting broken in.
My original idea was to live in the bus and work/travel in it. Those plans have changes so now I'm selling it.
The bus has a 7.3 diesel engine in it, known for it's long life span when taken care of. The bus is automatic and has cruise control. It's very comfortable to drive in while going down the highway. Very good-running engine.
It has two flat screen TV's. One in the living area and one in the back. The futon folds out to sleep two.
It has two emergency roof exits which are perfect for letting hot air out. I've also laid in the bed and watched the stars above.
It has three RV style roof-mounted air conditioners.
There is a kitchen since that goes into the bus's holding tank. The bathroom greywater also goes into the holding tank. The bathroom is a wet bath which means the shower and toilet are both in the same room. The toilet is a flush toilet that also goes into the holding tank.
Meals can be cooked with the included electric two burner oven as well as a single-burner butane cooktop. Also heat things up with the microwave and make coffee with the coffee pot included.
It has a fridge that has fridge on the bottom and freezing on the top.
The bus has plenty of storage. There is a single-bed bunk with privacy curtains and underneath is there is plenty of storage for clothes and toiletries or whatever you like.
The master bedroom is in the back of the bus and is king-sized. The are curtains on both sides of the bedroom with allow light in.
Behind the bed is a separate room which houses all of the plumbing and electric hot water heater. I don't believe the hot water heater works so I purchased a propane on demand hot water heater. The bus comes with it but it hasn't been installed yet. Easy install.
The back room also has tons of storage for bicycles or whatever else you'd need while on the road or for parked full-time living.
There is a huge awning on the passenger side. On the driver's side there is a digital antenna or cable tv plug in.
There is a backup camera with monitor installed so the driver can see while backing the bus.
The bus also comes with a 3000 watt Honda inverter generator. One of these brand new costs about $2,500!
The front of the bus has fog lights for extra light on the road when driving at night.
There is also an outdoor shower!
This bus is very well-equipped for full-time living or for hitting the road or tailgating.
The price is pretty firm but somewhat negotiable. I don't have financing available so please keep that in mind.
